Yes, very nice shots, Darren, as always. I agree with you that "correct" or "auto" white balance is not always the best result. Just a couple of situations where you may want to shift the white balance:

1) Skin tones generally look better with the white balance shifted toward red/warm.

2) Interior architectural images, shot under tungsten lighting, generally look better with a correction more toward blue/daylight.

And of course with RAW it is rarely necessary to do a manual white balance since you have so much control over the image after you take it.
