A simpler test procedure

You can more easily test the camera vs meter by simply shooting a bracketed test series of a white terry towel or other white fabric with some texture.

Take you meter reading with the Sekonic, then bracket around it up and down. Evaluate the files to determine the f/stop that yeilds the best balance of white and highlight detail in your test object. Any difference between the indicated meter reading and the f/stop actually producing the best highlight exposure is the value you want to enter into the L-358 as the calibration factor. Do that by pressing both ISO buttons at the same time and turning the adjustment wheel.
