Re: reference books for a beginner

Friedman's book is very comprehensive on the 7D and 5D. It is well worth it. Plus it is in understandable language.

I'm a novice and just got my 5D yesterday. Just left the digital
point-and-shoot world. Interested in getting a reference book so
that I can move past the AUTO setting on my new camera. Very
interested in the Friedman book. Any comments on this book or
suggestions on other books? Thanks in advance!
