Opinions on Landscape photo

It's too big to see without scrolling, which makes it hard to offer an opinion. Make it smaller!
 
And there is a lot that can be done with it by adding color.

Since your photo is near monographic anyway, I would convert the image to a powertone (easy in GIMP; duplicate the layer for a total of three layers, Set the top layer to Value, Center layer to Saturation, and replace the base layer with the fill Color of choice) to remove them. Maybe some sharpening (very subtle of course) would help too. :)

very nice photograph, the only thing i'd change is to clone out the squarish object dead centre on the left. Otherwise leave it alone.
 
The original has a lot of atmosphere and I wish I was there in person.

I really like the versions by Michael and Ray also. Well done guys.
