S9500 shots in Winchester, UK

Got my S9500 at the initial cheap (ish) dabs.com price. First chance to really test it out today, in Winchester, UK in a variety of situations. Note not much care was taken with composition, I just shot what caught my eye. Shots taken in N (natural light) or P (program) mode, colour set to Chrome, all other settings as default. All shots are handheld with no flash used at all. Unprocessed shrunken pics are shown below. The full size 9M Fine unprocessed, unrotated photos (warning 4MB each!) can be seen at http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/1883519 for a few weeks (click on thumbnail, and then click on the displayed picture for the full size).

Initial thoughts, in N mode, the selected ISO is probably too high, so a noisier than necessary picture results. However, most of the cathedral shots would not have been possible, handheld, with my current S7000. Not sure about the sharpness (though it could be my sloppy technique), so maybe it needs a HARD setting on sharpness and/or contrast. I'm going to need more memory cards at 4MB per shot. The new menus are a bit awkward compared to my S7000. I like the feel and extent of the manual zoom and the fast start up. I keep forgetting that I have a movable LCD, and still contort myself into strange positions to get certain shots. I like having ISO80.

Comments welcome.
