*** DPR Macro Challenge #12 - Liquid***

Howdy everyone!

Welcome to participate in DPR Macro Challenge #12 (MC12). The basic theme of these Challenges is macros and close-ups of various kinds or anything that looks small in real life, taken in the true photographic sense.

These Challenges run in such a way that the winner becomes the host/judge for the subsequent Challenge and chooses the forum and the theme. The Challenges will therefore be cycled among all the DPR forums, depending on the forum the winner belongs to. Because my winner in MC 12 was shot with a D70, this is where the MC12 main thread will be.

The theme for MC12 is "Liquid" and I am looking forward to see a lot of various kinds of entries from as many dpreview.com forums as possible. So lets get this challenge floating, and may the gallery flood with liquid images.

MC12 will run from Friday, 23 September 2005 to 24:00 (midnight) CEST on Thursday, 29 September 2005.

All images are to be entered into the PBase galleries:

The general rules for the DPR Macro Challenges are located here:

This thread needs to stay alive and can be used to discuss this Challenge or these Challenges in general. You can also announce in here when you post your images if you want to, maybe with a small or medium thumbnail. For those unfamiliar with how that's done, copy the URL of the image and include ' small.jpg' or ' medium.jpg' at the end. It's always a good idea to preview before posting to make sure it's right.

I'll announce the results in this thread and the other participating forums next Friday.

For anyone unfamiliar with PBase, a guide on how to use PBase is located here: http://www.pbase.com/dprchallenges/pbase_guide

The Hall of Fame will be updated with the 1st and 2nd place winners from this challenge.

Happy shooting!

Fred
