Can you tell date of production from the s/n? I purchased mine 3 weeks ago. It did not have the latest firmware. The s/n is 040233235.

It would be interesting to see the serial nos. & date of purchase of others.

Just got my Camera from Central Digital.COM. Took 5 Days from Order to Delivery. SN 0620513203. Don't know about firmware yet.

why are you interested to get other people serial numbers? this ain't gone tell you anything about the production date..nothing. one could buy a model today that has been at the store for months..whereas one could have bought it today and get a unit that was produced last week.

it ain't gone tell you anythign useful and I suggest to people not to give them full serial numbers here.
