The Castle, Franklin, PA - my first post.
This is my first post to this forum.
The below photo is of the River Ridge Estate in Franklin, PA (nicknamed The Castle.) It was built in 1913 by Joseph Sibley, a local oil baron and US Congressman. It is beautiful in construction and location. It is located on a hillside overlooking the Allegheny river and Franklin, PA
It is now owned by a local family and is used as a Christian retreat center by Christian groups throughout Northwest PA and Northeast U.S.
Being on a hillside, it is hard to get good level shots. The below photo was taken using my Olympus C3000 and an 18' high monopod with remote control and remote LCD monitor (my own creation.)
