I'm a wedding photographer and I was thinking of getting a second 20D for my work as a backup. One of the things that has always bothered me about the 20D is that my 16-35L becomes a fairly weak wide angle. So far I have been using my EOS3 film camera for my ultra wide needs. I've been considering a 10-22 EF-S but disliked the idea of having to lug around two lenses, and it kind of bothered me to have to shell out $800 for a 16-35mm effective lens when I already had a 16-35 'L' lens. And yet I couldn't sell my 16-35L because some customers still request film. The 5D would be a potential solution. If I get it as a backup, I have no need for a 10-22 EF-S, I just use the 5D with the 16-35L for my ultra-wide needs, and my 20D with its 5fps for my action shooting. Thus I have the best of both worlds. Each camera has it strengths and weaknesses. By having both bodies I get greater flexibility with fewer lenses.
