some questions for Z750 owners

All of these cameras pretty much have the same focal lengths and F-stops so, optically speaking, I don't see how there could be much difference in DOF between them.

Could it just be because Casio tends to always use a wide aperture in macro mode? Or maybe there's something funky about macro mode that invalidates f-stop/focal length calculations of DOF.
