For your information..

All these names 4C Macaroon and bigbackyard is actually one and the same , it is a troll that have been haunting the Sigma forum for several years under various names like : Suzie Galvesten, George Preddy , SG10, SG10.2 et.c. also Sigma SD9, Sigma SD10 , Heybabyhey.....
He / she is really keeping Phil buzy....

I think you mean 'Bayer' digital. The Foveon sensor commands a
different set of dpi standards. 20x30" is sharp using an SD9/10
with no little to no file prep, it really is. With a good
interpolator to smooth jaggies, you can go larger.

The camera also has a very film-like look on paper, and on screen,
largely because the three color channels are all imaged with the
same sharpness and resolution, which means that all the blur in the
image is pure optical lens blur, not blur that meanders as colors
change.

These are formidable cameras, it's not the 'digital' that so many
pros love to hate. Don't pooh pooh the idea of full color direct
imaging quite so fast, it possesses some qualities that no other
DSLR offers right now. No, the SDs aren't perfect either.

Compared to the 14n, the choice is hardly easy. I think the SDs
image better, but lens options make the choice a hard one.
