The 'HEAT' is on
--------------------------------------

You dont necessarily have to stick to warmth/fire sort of the meaning of 'Heat' for the challenge. I want you to get creative in your interpretation of the word 'Heat'.

Some examples I could think of on the top of my head...

  • competition/race/sports-action kind of adrenaline rushing activity

  • singer/dancer in the middle of a performance

  • show summer season with intense heat/sun-shine or desert

  • person working out, even better if drenched in sweat

  • show love/affection/sexual intimacy

  • people involved in visually heated argument/debate

and of course, actual fire/heat etc, if you want to be boring.

Looking forward to your intense, fiery, agitating, hot, flaming, passionate,
erotic, fierce, blazing, sizzling photographs.

Please read the challenge rules and guidelines below. The galleries are now open for posting.

The gallery is located at

RULES AND GUIDELINES

The Canon Talk Forum Challenges are open to everyone so please participate. You don't win anything (the eligible entry winner picks the next challenge topic and sets up the galleries and moderates the challenge), but it can be a fun way to practice your photography and get some feedback.

Eligible Gallery entries must taken with a Canon digital camera and be taken during the specified time period.

Exhibition Gallery entries can use any camera and be taken at any time.

You may post a maximum of 3 photos in each gallery.

Photo by photo; please share your comments with your fellow participants. Challenges reach their full potential when the dialogue becomes as important as the photos themselves.

Those who enjoy more plainspoken and critical comments on their work should mark their title(s) with an asterisk ( )

THEN WHAT?

Go to the desired gallery, eligible or exhibition, and edit the gallery. Use browse to locate and upload your picture. Be sure to add the required information below.

Help pages for the CTF challenges are located here: http://www.pbase.com/ctfchallenge/ctf_faq

5. Date of Picture (for Eligible Gallery only)

Optional information that's always appreciated is...
6. Description and Comments

8. Post Processing Details

Note: Pictures too large or missing any of the required information will not be allowed. Please do not send off-topic entries. The moderators have the final decision on uploading or deleting pictures.
