When I posted the “Three Respectable Old Ladies” the other day, w3 suggested that there should have been a 4th Respectable Old Lady:

So, when I finished my work in a nearby building this morning, I paid a visit to this ‘Stone Stairs Street’ again. Sorry, w3, it was a “respectable” middle aged man instead!

Feeling a little disappointed, I continued to climb up these stairs and met a genuine respectable old man. I had a brief but very enjoyable chat with this 82-year-old tailor. Comments and advice much appreciated.
