opening RAW files in photoshop CS - how???
Apologies in advance if I'm repeating another thread but I can't find anything by searching...
I've used RAW for the first time on my 20D. I've used my flash card reader to transfer files to my Mac so I have files with format ".CR2".
I have Photoshop CS and the Adobe Raw plugin.
When I try to open any of these files they're greyed-out. I can't open or import any. But my photoshop help screens tell me I should be able to open them.
I see there are other software apps which convert raw files to JPG or TIFF which I could use, but this defeats the purpose of taking raw images in the first place. And anyway then I'd be importing a TIFF or JPG into photoshop, not a raw image as I am supposed to be able to do.
Any advice gratefully appreciated.
