Epson 1290 Paper feed problem
I have an Epson 1290 which I am fairly pleased with, however over the last couple of weeks it seems to have developed a problem with feeding the paper. Nine times out of ten the paper will just feed straight through then I have to put it back into the printer again. It happens with all the paper I use from plain A4 A3 copier paper through photo inkjet paper and the Ilford Gallerie and Epson photo glossy. It also happens printing envelopes as well.
I have tried the Paper thickness adjustment but it seems that doesn't make a noticable difference. I usually just use single sheets of the more expensive papers.
Its driving me mad as it now take 3 or 5 times as long to print anything.
Can anyone suggest a cure?
P.S. BTW the printer is around three years old but has not actually printed many prints, probably less than 2000 A4 pages in all.
