Hi Garry

I like your shots, very impressive. The confetti shot has great atmosphere.....and the colours are all excellent. I especially like your castle landscape, its stunning. No castles to speak of here in Australia :^)

I am also a wedding photographer and have just jumped into the digital camera side with an S1 (although have always scanned negs previously).

I'm finding that the S1 is a great choice for wedding/portrait work because of the colour ability of the Fuji super CCD. Even the major digital printers here in Australia are asking wedding and portrait studios to use the Fuji if possible because of the extra work they need to do to fix the Nikon and Canon digital pctures at the lab.

By the way, I also occasionally get highlight overexposure on foreheads and will be watching to see if anyone knows how to minimise this.

One thing the S1 can do very well is infra-red. I use IR a lot in my wedding coverages (Tokina 17mm lens) and it is very good to know that I can still offer this service to my clients in digital.
My site is at http://www.hocusfocus.com.au

Hi Garry
Nice shots,- the castle and the cofetti are great.

The airplane picture is not as sharp, maybe the sharpen setting is off?? ....and it shows a little dust on the chip just beneath the planes.

The grouppicture is a little flat and in lack of contrast. Its not allways posible to get that right on location, but maybe you need to run a levels or curves in Photoshop to correct that.

Hope it gave you some usefull indput.

You've got a sharp eye Hendrick. I missed the specks. I shouldn't..I've had my share of 'em.
