my last printed pages were shot with S2

My last 4-color national magazine images were published in an American fishing magazine named "Salmon,Trout,Steelheader" and were shot by my trusty Fuji S2. They specified that the images needed to be "300 dpi" and so I just opened the images, clicked the box there in Photoshop, and presto-!!!!!!....72 was converted to 300! No problems, pictures looked great in the magaizine.

It's kind of weird how Fuji set their default to 72, and Nikon has cameras that default to 240 or 300.....kind of odd, but as somebody pointed out, that "72" really is NOT a reflection on the quality, but is merely a "marker". The magaizine's representative telling you they need "300" is a fairly common thing....the folks who work in priduction there know what's going on, but the people above them, who you are talking to, are a bit well, simple let's just say!
I think you will have no problems whatsoever with S2 or S3 Fuji files!
