Best film pro body?

Sorry for asking here, but seeing this is a focum that probably consist of the biggest group of former pro-film canon cameras, it's kinda logical to do it

What I'm wondering about is which camera is considered to be the best film body for wildlife photography.

Is it the EOS 1N? Elan?

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm kinda new to SLR/DSLR (own a 20D) and haven't really been paying attention to the pro film scene during the nineties and towards the millenium.

Basically I'm looking for a film alternative to be able to use my wideangle lenses better, as well as exploring film and the wonderful dynamic range it offers. So the camera is going to be used to both landscape as well as a few bird/wildlife photos (I will mainly use my 20D for telephoto though due to the 1.6x cropfactor).

So what's your oppinion?
