Yes, it does appear to produce on demand.

Obviously with a subject moving at one mile per hour the autofocus
and high FPS features were not taxed. In fact, all of these were
manual focus and spot meter exposures, so all that is really

These are some wonderful images, Michael. The fact that you managed to gain access to that area and then capture the images as well as you did, is very impressive. You are one of the good guys on this forum. It is the posts like this that makes it worth the effort to wade through the noise.
