I wish that I knew, but I am as unfamiliar with the full version of Photoshop as you are. I've always played with cheaper programs. I suggest that you post this question to the group to get a better response.

A friend to whom I mentioned the color-space issue remarked: "Isn't

Photoshop?" Not that I know much about Photoshop yet, but: I
suppose that given the appropriate profile (if available from
Minolta or some other source) that would work, yes? I don't think
it would work in PS Elements, which seems to have only three
selections in its (apparently non-configurable) color space dialog;
I don't know if PS LE is any more capable than that. But PS
"proper" has such controls.

But are D7 users limited, finally and forever, to using the Minolta
app for the color-space conversion?
