My Daughter's First DSLR Foray...Proud Father's Post

Greetings All,

Took a chance on the weather today, and headed out to the San Diego Zoo with the family. It was pouring rain when we left home, but we held out hope that "Mostly Cloudy and 30% chance of rain" meant exactly that... We weren't disappointed. BEAUTIFUL day at SD Zoo!

Anyway, I took the new D2h, and my 13 year-old daughter wanted to try my "old" D100. Since I don't have a CPU telephoto, she used the 75-205mm zoom, and I used my 300mm prime...calling out shutter speeds and apertures using my D2h as a meter.

Here are a few of my daughter's shots from today (all w/D100, 75-205mm zoom). She signs all her work "Ichigo." (Daddy's pretty proud, if I may say).

Snow Leopard

African Darter

Chinese Leopard

Leopard Leopard

Flamingo Quartet

Thanks for looking!
