Nikon Intervalometer

Nikon's MT-1 Intervalometer (and perhaps others too) were devices that could be programmed to trigger exposures at set intervals, such as once-per hour or once per day. There was also a device to trigger exposures when in IR beam was broken, such as by nocturnal animals and burglars, where a visible beam would have spooked them. It has been a while but when Nikon had the brochure with ALL of the Nikon 35mm SLR system arrayed in a huge assembly, the intervalometer(s) were the thin rectangular boxes with the dials on front and a few plugs & cables attached.
