They usually sell between $130 and $150 on the used market. I'm satisfied with my 50 MkII (used, $50).What would the expected price be, if you could find one, for this

Won't get me to give it up though...
BTW, is anyone aware of where I can find a comparison of the
OPTICAL performance. I can certainly see that the build quality is
much better.

There is quite a bit of variation between copies of the same lens, particularly the rock-bottom cheap lens like the 50/1.8, as Petteri himself noted in recent posts. A number of people who owned both versions said they saw no difference optically.The MkI is sharper when compared wide open. There's a comparison on
