Re: Ring in the Season (photo)

Thanks so much for the comments Lory. It is amazing to me how passion for something is passed down through the generations. My son is geting into photopgrahy now too. His real talent though is in music (a music major in college), so he selects the music which I use for "slide" shows. Maybe I'll post a link soon to one of my shows I did for my daughters school.

I am particularly proud of this years card in that it is artful. I usually do something technically fancy, but this year I wanted to show the feeling of the season.

again, Merry Christmas.........

Gary, I absolutely love the Christmas cards you've shared with us.
I was so touched by the tribute to your father, and the stories of
his creative dedication to making these cards every year (and
hardly ever being in them...) is wonderful. How cleaver he was to
make effects without a computer...there is real talent. He has
passed on to join some fine photographers that went a head of him...

Thank you for sharing such a tender story...and I see you are
continuing in the tradition. Wouldn't he be amazed at the tools we
have now.

My wish to all of us...that the spirit of love that is handed to us
by the preceding generations be nurtured and developed and
expressed in the art that we do.

Happy Holidays,
