Re: What kind of nudity in photography is in good taste?

I have shot nudes before, it really isnt any different the shooting peopel with clothes on for me anywya, as long as you arnt super nervous it goes better, if you are uneasy it makes the model uneasy, goes the other way also, always start slow with someone that is new to it, people with expirence wont have issues with it and it tends to go smoother if you have an idea of what kind of shots you want to pull off before it all starts

the setting TOTALLY depends on what you want out of the shoot and pictures,

on the topic of art/erotic that seems has to been discussed, that one is hard, IMO basically if the picture turns you on then its erotic, if it doesnt then its art, but then again that always in the eye of the beholder, however some things are blantantly erotic obviously

Sexy without being trashy as Ben called it isnt so hard to pull off

this is the only Nude gallery i have online and i would consider it sexy without being trashy and some as art also

Hi everyone,

I'm curious to hear the responses from those
who photograph models, models themselves,
and really any other d70 users out there
regarding nudity in photos...

When is it in good taste?
When is it "sensual" and not "lewd"?
Does it make models uncomfortable, in your experience?
Does it make photographers uncomfortable, in your experience?

Is it better to show sensual beauty outdoors, in a natural setting,
or is it
only appropriate in an indoor setting...
