Thank you very much. And I agree with you- there have been many great contributions/contributors to this thread. This, to me, is what forums should be- sharing and learning "stuff".

I always shoot RAW with my D70, sometimes RAW and sometimes SHQ
with my 8080. I hope Canon has decent software for RAW
development. Nikon Capture is good, but not as powerful as PSCS.
Capture, however, gives me much truer colors and superior clarity
when opening RAW files from my D70. I have gotten into the habit
of opening them in Capture, making RAW adjustments there (exposure,
white balance, etc.), then saving them and doing my final
processing in Photoshop. Maybe after I get more experience with
the Photoshop ACR I'll be able to get the initial images to look as
good as the ones from Capture.

I've heard Capture is very good, but I have no personal experience with it. I think ACR does quite a good job, though.

Thanks for the excellent tutotial Brian, I'm going to try some
blending now - my first efforts.

You're welcome Jim. Best of luck, and I hope you'll post some of your efforts.

Kind Regards,
Brian

Jim
