i have the ben willmore book and love it! i picked it out from
amongst the pack at b&n after heavy browsing LOL! i find it
clearly laid out and user-firendly. i read it cover to cover, a
rarity for me and computer books :))) since his book i've gone on
to add others (noteably the martin evening book and Katrin Eismann
Retouching+Restoration, and just finished the fraser camera raw
book which was chock full of good information!), but i always
return to ben to clear things up for me.

I also have this book and it and the Real World PSCS are my 2
favorite books out of my many PS books. BTW--do you get Ben's
'tips' via an occasional email? He's not 'regular', but they are
often witty and very informative.

Glen E Mitchell has an article in the Lumious landscape on midtone masking as oppsed to luminousity masking My point is that I found the article a bit daunting so I was hoping that Katrin would elaborate on the subject I cant find a reference to it Am I missing one or is it an ommission from the book It is an interesting technique Any insight? TIA
