I currently have a Nikon 995 which takes incredible close up

Hi
Uncle Frank is correct on the macro lenses.. I too faced
the problem.. the 995 had great DOF.. I decided to
try a few tricks and the closest I could get is to mimic a 995 is
using a Tamrom 90 macro SPDI with a 25MM extension Tube
and a aluminium foil flash re-director..
The extension tube lets you get almost as close as the
995..Keep the ASA to 200, Higher asas in macros on the d70
produce noise..
