8800 hissing noise
8800 hissing noise
Nov 9, 2004
Just received my 8800 and immediately noticed a low but audible electronic hissing noise coming from what seems like the main body/zoom lens area of the camera. Its apparent in auto and all the other shooting modes, but disappears in setup mode. I was wondering if the sound was inherrent in this model, as everything appears to be functioning correctly.
Thanks in advance.
Out of interest, this is my second 8800, the first having a fatal 'system error 2' fault on startup. Thinking I might just be unlucky....
