Jørgen that might be worth slicing in half and photographing again I'd be interested in seeing the shape of the core.

Cool shot thanks for sharing.

You don't happen to live near Rene do you? I'm a bit concerned what
may be in the water
Hi Shane

I think the distance is like 800km. So maybe not the water but... Some years ago Chernobyl blew up... It could be the result of this LOL

Kind regards Jørgen

Hi Dave,

Unfortunately it is too late... My 3½ yeras old daughter found the apple and told me that she just ate the funny apple I had on my desk... :-)

Actually she didn't take it all. There was enough left to see that it had two cores.

Kind regards Jørgen

With reference to René and his mushrooms...
Well, I have found this apple, which is actually two... And haven’t
been photoshopping.
Just wanted to share. See you.
Have a nice weekend, Jørgen
nice shot, interesting find! Mushrooms, apples, wonder what´s next?!

Guess when the UZI starts growing a little one right on top, it´s time to emigrate!

Hope we don´t get in trouble with the tourism industry, too many of these shots might scare away some tourists from the other side of the pond!

But - mutations are one way of progress or change, and isn´t that what some politicians like Rumsfeld wanted to see happen in the "Old Europe"?
:-)

You know what they Jørgen 'an apple a day keeps the dentist away' good on your daughter....LOL

It had 2 cores that makes it even weirder!!

If it had had one core would it have been a 'siamese twin apple'

Hi René

I will keep my eye open for more of these strange things. And next time I will say that I found it in US. Then we can get our tourists back. LOL

I am not sure that mutating is fast enough for Rumsfeld when he speeks about Europe...

Thanks for your comments!

.....looks like the aliens have been visiting again!
Hi Lucy,

Near René... Hmm like a distance of 800km, so I guess that it is all over here. But maybe this apple was imported from his region... LOL

Thanks for looking.

Kind regards Jørgen

A neat find and a nice shot Jørgen ~ very well presented!!

It looks like it's just begging to be in an apple pie!! :)
Hi Dave

Unfortunately it was too late for the pie as my daughter ate it before I was finished photographing it... I was just away a few minutes. LOL.

Thanks for your nice comments on the photo.

Kind regards Jørgen

Hi Jörgen,

looking through the Friday issue of my newspaper from my home area, I found this picture of a twin apple. So it is not only our mushrooms, but we also do have these apples down here.

Tschernobyl fallout - nonsense, it´s just the result of the efforts of the European agricultural industry to double the yield when space is limited, Lol!

Hi René,

I belive you are right! They are really trying to make magic with frouits and vegtables these years. Cube tomatoes, violet carrots etc. By the way, I think "my" apple comes from your area...

A friend of mine thinks that it looks like a bird. I have to agree. I guess it an applified bird. LOL
