I know, but that's better than nothing though. Since I don't do studio work it's less critical to get it exactly right like in your case.

In day light I set compensation to -2 Av to minimize the ambience. For dark indoor I use Tv to set desired speed and just have to live with the maximum aperture.

Having been much haunted by this malfunction I've lost much
confidence in the G1 so it's going to take a bit more testing
before the G1 gains my confidence back even in Tv or Av. If it
does in fact works reliably then at least I have somewhat of an out.
