Dang! I've been happily shooting my G2 for nearly two years and I recently picked up an ist D to go with my quiver of Pentax lenses and I love it. The G2 was far from retired and was still mountain biking with me. The last trip to southern Utah had me daydreaming about what would be the perfect camera for mountain biking as the G2 is just a little larger than necessary. This may have jinxed me as my wife lost my G2 a while back. So, the camera I was dreaming about in Utah was/had:

Improved video....640x480 at 30fps.
RAW capable. (been shooting raw for nearly three years)
Compact Flash compatible (I have over 3 gigs worth of cards.)
Wireless remote capable ( I carry a little tripod with me and use this often)
Was compact in size.
Accessory lens capable ( I really like a polarizer for those sunny days)
Flip out LCD (I've loved having it but this is not high on the list)

So, I've looked at and considered:

S60/70:
10 fps video
Funky lens adapter

A95:
No RAW
No remote.
10fps video

Nikon 5200;
JPG only....haven't looked much beyond that

Pentax 750Z:
No RAW
SD storage format.

And of course, none of these cameras have as bright a lens as the lost G2.

What else should I consider??

The c7000 looks like a very nice camera. Unfortunately it uses an XD picture card, shoots video at 15fps, and there is no mention of accessory lenses or a wireless remote.

I'm pretty sure now I will have to compromise, but where is the question.
