a bug's life - 6 imgs

howdy

i received my 2nd 250D on thursday and finally got some playtime today. stacking a second one cuts the working distance about in half - down to approx. 4.5 inches. reduction in dof is equally challenging.

here a few of the better ones so far:

only a marginal crop applied to change aspect ratio

to compare, here's one i took with a single 250D today (also marginal crop only)

back to 2x 250D, and a cooperative model

can't do much about the eyes, they appear to be naturally soft-looking

enter the ladybug... as if shooting with both hands isn't hard enough, lol. i hope nobody was watching me trying to take this one single lens.
"roadblock"

...and i'll leave you with one of those lookin-up-the-tree shots, taken just before the bugshoot.

all bugs shot with 828 + 250D(s) and f32x w/ ultrasoft... f8, 1/3200, iso32

any comments, blunt and harsh critique, comments, poems, and most of all - cash donations in excess of $1000, always welcome.

thanks!
sash
