Hi,

Is a high speed (e.g. San Disk Ultra II) CF card a requirement to use the movie mode (640*480 Fine) on the S1 IS?
Can I get away with using a "regular" speed CF card?

I have the regular Sandisk 1GB and I can take non-stop 640 fine 30fps movie for 9.5 minutes. So, you don't have to use the UltraII. BTW, compact flash card price is droping like crazy. There is a 1GB 60x CF card for just $70 after rebate!

Regular Viking CF card is not capable though.

My Lexar 12x card can do 640x480 normal mode, but the red ! mark pops up if I try using the 640x480 fine mode.
