I was sent this piece and thought I would pass it along. I had never heard of this happening but
it is inspiring IMO.

I have a D7100 and have not used the Nx1. Both the 7200 and NX are wonderful cameras it appears.
IMO the Nikon will give you a far wider choice of good lenses but that only matters depending on what you shoot.
The bottom line is this. If you can improve your skills to get the very most out of...
I suggest you take any F4 lens into the environment you intend so shoot in. Set your speed to at least 800- 1000 for shooting sports and see where that takes you. You will find the F4 way to slow.
The 2.8 is vastly better suited to the shooting you intend to do. But it is heavy.
If you can...
Sorry the 1 V3. I posted this question on the comments section of the announcement page of the 1 V3.
Not being able to use the speed lights with these cameras is really ridiculous IMO. The Nikon flash system is one of the great strengths. If you can design it into the 7700 surely it isn't that...
can you use the Nikon speed light flashes with this camera? I assume you need and adapter. Not sure which speed lights will work even then. Anyone know?
I would defintetly start with the A16. The A12 in the near futre. I don't won the A12 but have a friend with one so I have got to "play" with it a lot. It will be my next purchase. (I have all the lensors but the A12). The A12 is just great to experiment and play with when you have the time(the...

The one feature that has given em a lot of trouble is "snap...
Very nice shot :). If I remember correctly you just got your GXR. I have had mine for about 2 months now. I am finding the learning curve to use all the menu features rather steep, but I am slogging my way thru it slow but sure.

Nikon has been a bungler when it comes to campact cameras especialy. For a company with so much experties and experience there is NO excuse for the sub standard compacts they have brought to market over the years.
As well when they do produce a great product (Nikon A) it is over priced compared...
News like this quote belwo from Sony and others is typical. Olympus has posted the same dismall results on this site. I would bet this endless upgrade madness is one area that is going to slow down. The camera biz is getting to be a war of attrition: The last one standing survives.
