John- Yup, I'm trying it now, side by side against C1 Pro. I think it's a matter of preference. In C1, I'm used to being able to do exactly that- Use it as a browser, preview RAWs, correct individual files for lighting changes, etc. WHILE sending out corrected files to be converted/saved to... -

John- I understand (I think) that, but is it possible to be correcting INDIVIDUAL files WHILE others ar being converted/saved to .tiffs as in C1? IE: Not batch proessing, but correcting individual shots (let's say varying lighting on multiple scenes) while conversions/saves are being done? -

Hi Denis- Thanks- I understand (I think) I guess it's a matter of interpretation. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in ACR, unless you actually do the save after opening/converting, an actual converted RAW hasn't really been performed? Example: C1 - Open to a folder of RAWs & it paints thumbnails... -

FYI- After OPENING the RAW & clicking that little button called OPEN: Resulted in this: When saved resulted in this: Again, how you can POSSIBLY say ACR won't open a file (RAW, in this case) is flat out WRONG. CLEARLY opening or PREVIEWING a RAW in ACR is COMPLETELY different... -

WRONG- Clicking a RAW in CS2 OPENS it in a PREVIEW window: How you could POSSIBLY think that's a conversion is laughable, but thinking ACR can't OPEN a RAW file as proven in the screen shot is beyond laughable. -

Unda- While current drives certainly don't deliver STR of 3Gb/sec (Hell, neither does SCSI!) as is commonly thought, gotta admit SATA IS better than PATA. NCQ & hot plug are two BIG advantages IF properly used, especially for digital darkroom use. Again, it's still at a young stage & does...
