ok here you go Paul
From Lower Pro website:
Omni Trekker:
unique removable/hideaway backpack harness
front and top zippers for access to gear even when the Omni Trekker bag is in the hard case removable tripod straps
includes rugged metal hardware, a reverse-open lid, laminated mesh pockets, a padded, contoured shoulder strap and fully customizable interior
My Take on the bag:
I find this bag/brief to be very suitable for my purposes, one bag carries all. Keep in mind that if filled completely, it is alot of weight to haul around for an entire day. Even though the hidden backpack straps are well designed, the bag is not proportioned as a normal backpack is, therefore you are limited in shoulder movement while it is strapped on your back. As an example, I used this for one solid day 6AM to 12AM throughout Washington DC. The temperature was in the high 90°(F) and by the end of a long day of walking my back was sore. I have used it in this capacity several times on shorter duration trips with no problems. Overall an excellent bag with many pockets, zippers, and fully customizable! While wearing as a briefcase, the top zipper allows for easy removal of a 1, or 2 bodies with lenes attached.(dependant on the size of the lens of course : )
