WG has always been big on noise and short on fact.

Yes, I think the Netherlands, from what I've read, is like America if
the ACLU had their way. They are FOR ANYTHING. It's called the
American Civil Liberties Union. They are a slew of liberal lawyers
who sue in support of most any kind of perversion. They interpret the
COnstitution to mean than anything anyone can possibly think of doing
is protected speech. They regularly SUE to have Christmas items taken
down but for some reason, they NEVER sue to have Jewish or Muslim
holiday displays removed. They say they're for everyone's liberties,
but that's a smoke screen. They pick and choose liberally. For
example, they defended a member of NAMBLA in Massachusetts where this
homosexual child molester killed a 10 year old boy while acting out
his sex fantasies. I guess the 10 yer old didnt have any civil
liberties to protect. Same story in Texas when 2 gay men killed a
young boy during sex.

The ACLU and CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) are the 2
most dangerous above-ground operations in the USA. Discounting the
Democratic party that is.

The ACLU, who got this clown his $8000, is run by perverts and child
molesters. Oh, and Communists, but that's sortof redundant.

As a non-native speaker I sometimes miss the point and read what I
think is logical.
I thought the person who obstructed the police had to pay $8000 fine
to avoid going to jail. Now I understand he was rewarded for his
outrageous behaviour.

However, to compare the US to the old Soviet Union is over the top. On the other hand plenty of rights have been taken away.

My right to the privacy of my financial records, my rights to privacy when I take books out of the library, My right to not be wiretapped without a warrant, all of these and more have been taken away.

In fact the Forth Amendment to the Constitution has been taken away.

My right to Habeaus Corpus has been taken away. This administration claims the right to arrrest anyone without charge and hold them without notification or access to a lawyer.

So, while we are certainly not the Soviety Union we are well on our way down that road. Indeed, the President claims the right to suspend Congress and the Courts in the event of a "signifigant" Terrorist attack anywhere in US controlled terrotory. He did this by Executive Order, despite the fact that Congress long ago passed a law on how government should function in the event of a real disaster.

Thankfully, it is not legal or binding. Just another bunch of Democrats wasting time and taxpayer money. It only goes to show the mindset of these liberal lunatics and their approach to "free speech".

They passed a resolution condemning certain comments. Common, albeit non-sensical behavior, that can be expected from all manor of legislative bodies, city governments in particular.

In any case, none of this has had anything to do with trying to "throw him off the air". And even if it did, or even could, such a move would have absolutely nothing to do with his rights to free speech.

And Steffi, you can rest assured that if ever a Govt. agency, working at any level were to make any kind of attempt to violate Michael Savage's First Ammendment Rights, lawyers from the ACLU would be standing right beside him in court, defending those rights without charge, just as they have in the past for such notables as Rush Limbaugh, Jerry Falwell, and hudreds of other conservatives.
