1b) Prefer the head at the slight angle with her eyes off center looking at the camera. The straight on head in the first one is not as dynamic.

2b) Prefer only one arm up. The second arm is distracting in the first one.

3a) But this was a touch choice since "a" focuses on her profile more and "b" focuses more on the shape of her very lovely back.shoulder/arm.

But since she is so stunningly beautiful, I find myself drawn to "a", the closer view.

I would prefer 3-B for it's a wonderful profile shot.

1-A is centered to the face as it should be, but 1-B is better, but it lacks some interesting angle for the face. 1-B.

2-A is great. 2-B was very well better (pose & composition), but I saw that the hair was pancaked. I like it in 2-A.

and I think it all just a matter of personal preference. I have to say that I think on all these shots you have "Outdid" Yourself. Exqusite is what comes to mind!!!

1b is better. I think the eyes are slightly more sharp and the head angle just seems more appealing.
2a. Same here. The eyes much better here!

3b Looking from a man's view I thin looks better. Has a very sexy appeal and somewhat mysterious quality to it. But a woman might go for 3a? Although 3a might just be worth some money from De Beers (A Diamond is Forever)

Here's my go at it,
1a, I prefer, looks like it expresses, be quiet, don't say a word.
1b, she expresses, something like, "now let me think"

I like 2b better, like bikeguy said, the second arm is distracting.

2a expressing something like "what am I doing?" while 2b is a more attracitve expression.

Picture 3b I like better, the red nails are not as dominant in the picture as in 3a.

Yuri - I don't know if I should respond to this or not because I am not a fan of staged portrait shots. I prefer people to be caught in natural poses. Even so, your photography always WOWS me - so please take my OPINIONS with a grain of salt.....

First Series - I prefer 1a

WHY:

1a - she looks like she is saying....'ssssush - I'm in the mood for love' and I like her direct look
1b - it looks like she is having a senior moment (I too have those!)

Second Series - I prefer 2a

WHY:

2a - two arms are better than one BUT I keep thinking, "What if those were her legs?" for some reason.
2b - the pose doesn't look natural and the look in her eyes is a bit....off

Third Series - I prefer 3a

WHY:
3a the pose looks natural
3b she looks like she is doing a self-breast examination

I am curious as to what your comments will be based on our choices. This was a very fun thread, Yuri with some awesome portrait shots!

Hmmm...I've been trying to figure that out for 30 years!

Curious spot for her breast. Brought to mind an experience where the female doctor had me feeling my wife's breast one time showing me how to do a breast exam. Was kinda weird situation! Definetly made the breast/foreplay thing seem kinda clinical for me for a while afterwards.

I am curious as to what your comments will be based on our choices.

That was too funny!

As to the photos - believe it or not, I think I could have easily predicted that the guys would go for 3b. It's suggestive and I don't know a man alive who doesn't get all hot and flustered when they imagine a woman satisfying herself - which to me, Photo 3b suggests.

To 'top' it off, the subject is very beautiful. I wonder what the reaction would be on a subject in her 80's or 90's?

You know - A. I think too much. B. Thank God for men!!!!

I prefer the first one. Hmmmm, because it looks the best to me.

Even though I like her lips in the second one, I still lean towards the first one and the red finger nails appear to be in the right place.

1b - Finger points to lips - provocative

2a - 2 hands on head (right arm distracting)
2b - 1 hand on head

3a - Angle of nose is worst possible!
3b - Nose better and more skin (which is perfect) and red more subtle

I pick 1a, 2b, 3b...

All are good!

because you are showing with this series, that small adjustments in the model's pose or the photographer's angle can make a big difference in the impression that the image creates.

I prefer 1a, because when she tells me to be quiet, I think she is getting ready to be naughty.
The pose in 2b is more natural than the one in 2a.
I like 3a. The lines are clean. Even though it shows less, it suggests more.
