Talked to a woman named Georgia at ext 42942...she was pretty good...included 2nd day shipping for nothing because she had a hard time finding it... total because the 20% is from the small business site which charges sales tax was 765.95 and I will pricematch with my AMEX...

I also ordered from Dell yesterday (see my post). It shipped same day and will be here tomorrow. Paid 719.00 before tax, with no shipping costs. I also ordered the 256MG CF card, but I think I only got 20% off, not 25% as the author of this post indicated. Stillm, the final damage on the CF will be 96.00. Not bad.

She told me the 20% discount was over, but since I asked, she gave it to me. 778.53 with tax, 2 day delivery. She told me to tell Fred thanks for recommending her. I want to thank you all also.

I have been pouring over reviews and visiting local stores for two weeks trying to decide which camera to buy. The folks on this forum and the reviews on this site have been very helpful. I'm glad the search is over. I'll check back in when my camera arrives.

Just ordered my G2 from Dell, as a business customer, for $719.20 +32.50 for tax and $12 next day shipping. They said I would get it no later than Thursday, as they have to get it from Canon first, before the "next day" kicks in. Sold my G1 yesterday, and can't wait to kick the tires on the G2.

Thanks to all for the Dell 20% tip and the Amex price match tip. With Royal Camera selling the G2 for $604, It's the deal of the century.
