macro pano 'pacro?'.......caterpilar series

nice work. I would think it would be hard to get a pacro like that to come out right. Also, on the topic of "pacro", can we expect to see nikon/sigma/tamron coming out with some 12mm/f1.8 pacro lenses soon?

Of all things i've lost, i miss my mind the most.
 
pan or truck that shot? By truck, I mean hold the camera in the
same plane and move it left or right, perpendicular to the subject.
You can see one transition neart the rear of the caterpillar that's angled, so am I correct in deducing that it's a pan, not a "truck"? I can't find the other seam. Well done, indeed! It's funny because I was just wondering about trying some macro panos and whether they'd work at all. Looks like in the right hands, it's feasible to do.

lol, I saw the picture of the crab before and assumed that was the image... then I saw your repost... wow, its a biggie! :)
