Hi you'll,

There's been a lot of yadda yadda lately so I thought I would do what I do best and that's take pics.

Here's a Roseate Spoonbill taken with a nikon D100



A Crested Caracara with his lunch date



An Osprey with his lunch. As Andy says "Its all about the food". This was taken with my new Nikon D2H



and here's one just to show that I can shoot something w/o feathers

We (my family and I) really like what you're catching in Florida. Your pictures are so great, we can almost taste the salt.(used to live in Cocoa Beach) Please keep sharing, since it gives a lot of us incentive not to give up developing our skills, no matter who or where we are. You and Andy with your comraderie have inspired countless STFers and DGriners.
We know you're only a click away.

When did you get the new D2H!?!?

Great shots...you've always been a solid photographer, but boy can you see improvement in your shots versus a year or two ago!

I think your swampy photo expedition/class a few months ago took you up a notch. Absolutely gorgeous captures, and it shows your patience and determination to get the right moment...which takes more time in the field and more snaps of the shutter.

Good to see you pop in here with some photos again. Very nicely done. And your post-processing is my style...I like your color, saturation, and sharpness choices. Looks like you've got a better selection of birds up there - ours aren't quite as colorful or diverse (Roseate Spoonbill? Caracaras? All we get are falcons, cranes, and herons!).

The colors in the first shot are just plain wonderful.

The turtle shot shows you...what can happen if you keep sticking your head out!

Always enjoy your shots whether I comment or not! :-)

How cool! The spoonbills visit us in South Texas also, along with the surfers and the Caracara.

Hey Justin,

I got the D2H around 4 weeks ago. With the price drop to $1900 it was too good of a deal to pass up. I still have my D100 but its smaller buffer was costing me too many wildlife shots.

You are absolutely right about the Reznick workshop. It was definitely a breakthrough for me. I lucked out with my move, without knowing it I moved into bird central. ;-)

... turkey the other day - so beautiful yet so ugly in the same time (Roseate Spoonbill). Looks like something that should have been extinct 16 miljon years ago.

Also love the Crested Caracara. Nice capture, and in my wicked mind, somewhat funny - but I dunno why! You are a master of snappin' "Funny-but-why" birdpics, Harry! ;o)
