Who is this guy's marketing agent? With my eyes and his talents I should have college prepaid and that convertable BMW I've been wanting for so long!

.... and on a day well after the first seven, God created bounce flash. Many pets rejoiced.

What a little beauty! And your portrait is perfect! Lovely pensive mood you caught her in, too. Sure would br interesting to know what she was thinking...

She's gorgeous !
A nice pensive moment too .

It looks to me the focus is a bit too close, and maybe you should try
what the pic looks like when you take out the lightdots in her eyes.

By my friend, keep up the good work !

I'd like to congratulate you on this picture. I think few of the comments missed your point. The picture is about the childs thought, which is very visible and apparent and not about the pretty blue eyes. Beautifuly frozen moment.

She is a beautiful present for which I'm very grateful. And the nice thing is she loves me very much as well. :) What more can I wish?
Thanks, Gary, for your support and nice words, as always.

A great capture. She looks really concentrated... you are having good progress with the F32x., the lighting is good and the colour superb. Sophie is growing keeping all her beauty and that incredible innocent blue eyes. Jesus

Thanks, Peter. I agree, but who am I to say?

What do you mean by close focus? It's a crop, did you know? Do you mean that the crop is too close? I tried removing the catch lights. Hm, I don't like it. She gets "dead" eyes IMO.
Thanks for your comments!

What a sweetie! My wife, standing near me on this one says: "Don't you just want to pick her up and hug the daylights out of her." I agree.
Wonderful capture, Adrian, as always.

Hi Adrian

What a superb portrait! Thanks for sharing it. I prefer the original to the closer crop in your follow-up.

I had the same flash setup, and I really liked it. I just sold my 828 to get a DSLR next month, now I will have to get to the same level all over again.

I hope you don't mind, but the background looked a bit noisy, and I'm starting to get the hang of Paint Shop Pro 9's built-in noise reduction. By doing some reduction along with some sharpening (built into the NR), I removed the noise and made her eyes even clearer.
