The photo appeared, then it was gone. Supposedly this is the 'consumer' version of the 4/3's system used on the E-1.

Don't ask me about the specs, though. I have no idea. Guess we'll find out soon enough at Photokina . . .

Oly has announced that there will be a new E system dSLR introduced at Photokina, but this photo appeared on a European website for a short period of time. They pulled it down, though. Maybe because of violation of a non-disclosure agreement they had with Oly?

Here's a link to their teaser . . .

Hope I'm not causing Phil any problems by posting this photo of the E-300 here . . . probably not . . . I'll certainly take it down if it is. But I suppose he'd just delete the thread before he asked me to take down the photo, though.

In this thread...

Named kind of like the Drebel/300D...two different names for different markets...

The big question is whether it has an optical viewfinder or an electronic viewfinder?...

Can't wait to see the specs...

Looks interesting...

An E=Pen F, or E-PENULTIMATE, the first half frame digital!

Tell me John, what did Carl say to his son about folks that want to smear you with honey, and roll you in donut crumbs?

I read somewhere that they've registered it in the US. Not sure how accurate or if they've done that elsewhere.

If evolt.org didn't register their name as a trademark, etc. they may be the ones up the creek.
