Domestic equines, including horses, mules, donkeys, minis and ponies, with a daily job to earn their keep. Might include farming, logging, carriage tours, dude range hack string, working cow horses, security (police), crowd control or search and rescue. No show horses or other part time activities.

In the USA these are called "Color Breeds" and include Paints, Pintos, of an equine with different color markings, or a solid color with different color manes and tails. Equines may be wild or domesticated. Horses, minis, ponies, mules and donkeys are eligible, as are zebras (although that may be too easy)
