Challenge has finished
In this challenge, show us some of the interesting insects you've captured with your cameras. There are many weird and wonderful ones out there, and this is an opportunity to share your pictures with us. Macro and close-ups welcome. Minimal evidence of humans, pets, or man-made constructions. No spiders, please. The creepy critters should have six legs. If they have eight (or more) they will be fed to the birds! Size of your entry: 1,600 pixels on the longer side.

Focal length: 150 mm
Shutter speed: 1/500 sec
Aperture: F8
ISO: 3200
Notes: The problem with capturing these critters is that they keep moving! Haha. Was lucky to get this shot in focus on the face after a lot of trials, although unfortunately it was underexposed, which is why there is so much noise upon lifting the exposure.
