The Dome on the left houses a NASA dish that tracks satellites. To the right there are some tall posts. Not so tall looking in the image but they are roughly 100ft high. Those are part of the SuperD.A.R.N project and they measure and report Aurora activity. This image was taken on Ross Island Antarctica just outside McMurdo Station.

Notes: Two panoramics shot from the same spot and time. Two different focal points and iso but same exposure pan to pan. Used Light Room and Photoshop to process, align and stack the two panorama's into one image.
