Nothing can beat the effect of film grain on a Black and White image. It coverts the photograph into a timeless piece of art. Film had a distinct advantage over digital when it came to grain, as digital noise didnt give the same effect. But with advanced image-editing softwares and plug-ins its possible to replicate the effect.

An old delivery truck rested in peace as a Coca Cola stand loomed in the background at Stone Mountain Park. It was as if the truck was waiting to do one more delivery.

Notes: I took this picture with center weighted average based on the rusting brown metal of the truck. I knelt down to truck level, to hide the paved path between the garden which the truck was in and the Coca Cola stand
