Yes, I know that this is a human, subjective view of the world, that we see aspects of nature as beautiful or ugly, and not as the animals, birds, insects, plants see themselves. Given that proviso, show us what you consider really, really ugly in nature. Man-made ugliness will be disqualified, and no people, or domestic pets. Macro and close-ups welcome. Size of entry: 1,600 pixels on the longer side. And no, DPR does NOT reduce the sizes of the entries for you. You need to do this yourself or be disqualified!

This male Piebald Muscovy Duck (Cairina moschata) originates from Mexico and South & Central America. Probably only attractive to a female Muscovy if the homones are right. Certainly appears to be avoided by other ducks as it was on its own for most of the time except to fight for food or territory when seen on the occasion of this shot!
