B&W Film Grain

Challenge #9 in the Pari's Series series. Hosted by Parinita Salian.
Challenge has finished
Nothing can beat the effect of film grain on a Black and White image. It coverts the photograph into a timeless piece of art. Film had a distinct advantage over digital when it came to grain, as digital noise didnt give the same effect. But with advanced image-editing softwares and plug-ins its possible to replicate the effect.

This is one of my favorite 35mm film pics that I scanned to digital recently. The grain is real. Took it with an OM1 I got from my dad when I was 13 yrs old. I miss film sometimes.
